Camargue

Overview

This region is located in the Rhone delta and is thus characterized by floods and high salinity. The primary crop is rice followed by pastures, wheat and vineyards.

Research team

This region was surveyed by a team from Tour du Valat lead by Brigitte Poulin. Fieldwork was coordinated by Gaetan Lefebvre in 2013-2014.
